I was asked to re-design a restaurant !! Yes me ! No no, I never did this, and had no idea how to do it. But I love challenges and I love interior design, so there was my chance. I re-did everything, they gave me "carte blanche" but I though that everything needed to be re-done. But they had such a small budget and me such a lack of experience that there was a lot of back and forth. That why I outsourced a few departments. Pre-production had to be done in one month and the renovation in two weeks !!!

Here is a list of what I did or commissioned : scientific lamps, barn wood tables tops, change a section for 2 big communal tables, sand blasted the chairs then varnish them in an gradient of stain, also re-did the upholstery on all the chairs and banquets (grey tweed and brown leather) Redid the bar out of barn wood as well, painted the walls mat black, did a funky mirror installations in the bathroom, as well as a concrete counter top, remove an ugly water fountain and replaced it with a big net, covered all the wine cellars with maple wood, put some metal mesh curtains, changed the music, did some wood bar lamps, an installation of thousand of wine cork in the lobby, and last, I extended the bar section with a big standing up area with, in the middle, in big wood wine barrel. A lot of it was done with recycled material, tables and chairs where just given a new life.

Amazing project, I am super proud of everything. Being able to make a project like this happen in no time is pretty amazing. And quite fun. Go have bite or a drink ! Food is AWESOME !! Out of this world !!!
